107 - Remote Retreat with Phil Liggett at his South African Lodge

When not commentating on cycling, Phil and his wife Trish are usually found at a remote location on the edge of South Africa’s famous Kruger Park, where leopards, lions, elephants, and crocodiles are right outside their house. The lucky bidder would get to stay with Phil and Trish for an agreed number of days (3-5 days), being collected from the local airport in Hoedspruit (50 miles away), and returned there on departure. 

You will dine each evening under the stars and alongside the Olifants river. Travel would be into Johannesburg and then a local one-hour flight to Hoedspruit. A day, or two, in the Kruger would be part of the trip. Phil will supply the transport and guide where necessary on the bush trails.

This experience is for two people. If not partners, then in a shared twin room. Phil will cover transport to/from the airport and meals while at the lodge. Airfare is not included. Phil encourages the lucky winner to extend their visit beyond this experience, and he's happy to give trip advice and make accommodation recommendations.  

This trip would have to take place in May 2023 or November 2023. Exact dates would be by mutual consent.
