'Mountain Moon' is a selection of this Asian semi-evergreen dogwood tree with larger flowers and leaves than is typical. Long lasting flowers (actually bracts) are followed by 1" red strawberry-like berries that are sweet and edible but not necessarily tasty. Birds love them though. It is not a fan of our southern heat and humidity so site it where it can get some protection from afternoon heat and some decent air flow.
