2009 Cakebread Cellars Dancing Bear Ranch Red Bordeaux Blend WS 91- The nose of our 2009 Dancing Bear Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon offers the pure, high-toned, deeply concentrated aromas we have come to associate with this wine: ripe dark cherry, boysenberry, blackberry and plum fruit complemented by subtle earth, floral spice, forest floor and cocoa tones. In the mouth, the wine is rich, deep and juicy with mouthfilling dark cherry, boysenberry, cassis, plum and cedar flavors that take on a pronounced brambly spice tone in the remarkably long, savory finish. While this vintage of Dancing Bear is precociously forward in its youth, its superb structure and deep, expansive fruit suggest it will develop beautifully in bottle for at least a decade. Located on the slopes of Howell Mountain in northern Napa Valley, our Dancing Bear Estate estate vineyard is planted on steep hillsides reaching elevations over 1,800 feet.
2017 Kongsgaard Cabernet Napa AG 96- Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Kongsgaard Napa Valleyis grown in the vineyards around the winery on the eastern rim of the Valley and powerfully expresses the minerality of the variety. Classic Bordeaux-style graphite leads the explosive array of exotic fragrances. A barrel sample, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon features a deep garnet-purple, singing on the nose of freshly crushed black cherries, black berry pie and warm plums over a core of cassis and pencil lead plus nuances of violets, cinnamon stick and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers mouth-coating, crunchy black fruit with a firm backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy.

2012 Patel Proprietary red Bordeaux blend Napa- PATEL Napa Valley Red Wine is our tribute to Right Bank Bordeaux-style red wines, such as Pomerol. In keeping with Right Bank tradition, Merlot makes up the majority of this offering. Sourced from Tourmaline Vineyards in the Coombsville AVA, the Merlot gives the wine its lush and elegant mouth-feel, and wonderful layers of rich cherry and black fruit. Winemaker added Malbec for its floral aroma and dark fruit flavors; Cab Franc for its structure and long, rich finish; and a touch of Petit Verdot for color depth and a tannin anchor. Medium-deep dark red with a garnet hue. On the nose, the wine is layered with ripe red and black fruits, with a soft, subtle oak note adding a lovely dimension to the aroma. The palate of this wine is refined and elegant, showing great balance and approachability. Ripe fruit flavors and moderate acidity make up the mid-palate, followed by a medium-long finish.
