Lauhala Bracelet with loulu overlay, 8.5 inches diameter 

This bracelet was made in Hawaiʻi with Hala harvested by the artist. 

Each Lauhala tree has an individual color all its own. Although the natural color of the Hala is very handsome, weavers may add color by dying the leaves. Lauhala products are made from leaves of the tree which are called Hala or Lau. The Hala leaves are cut into strips and softened before being woven.
