Artist Short Bio: Lisa Etre moved to St. Croix in 1962. Upon graduation from High School, Lisa attended American University in DC. Moving to St. John in 1980, Lisa was an educator for the VI Department of Education teaching Art at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School in St. Thomas. Retiring in 2013, her art portrays what she know and loves best: the natural beauty of the islands and native Virgin Islanders working, playing, and often just “liming” or “ takin de breeze”.

Artist Statement:   My art, my life, my spirit is inspired by the natural beauty of St. John.
