About the Painting:
“Colors” is a 14x18 framed alcohol ink by Ben Glatfelter. Ben approaches his work with meticulous detail, often spending weeks on a single piece. He uses small, thin, visible brushstrokes that are indicative of the impressionistic style. Alcohol inks were dropped and layered, then manipulated with a stamper and Q-tip to render this exuberant composition.
About the Heart Artist:
Ben, a Heart Artist since September 2019, uses acrylic paints to paint beautiful landscapes. He is inspired by his Instructors and appreciates all their support. Ben’s favorite thing about the Studio is getting to use different mediums to paint. Outside of the Gallery & Studio, Ben likes to go swimming, watch TV and attend live theater and sporting events. Ben describes himself as “quiet”.
