Thank you for helping sustain our company during this transitional and transformative time. We deeply appreciate your support!
Over three decades, Interact has grown to be one of the most prestigious theatre companies in Los Angeles, having received hundreds of nominations, awards, and commendations for artistic excellence. The Los Angeles Times praised the company as “one of L.A.’s true theatre successes,” and NoHo News called Interact “a company of hard-hitting professionals with a rare and undeniable combination of heart and expertise.” “The very best acting ensemble to be seen currently in Los Angeles,” wrote Santa Monica Daily Press.
We have been working in-residence at The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles for the last three years. It is where we produced the West Coast premiere of the hit Off-Broadway play, "Nice Fish," by Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins. The year prior to that, we produced "Other People's Money" at Pico Playhouse.
In 2019, InterPLAY, the company’s North Hollywood summer theatre camp for underserved youth, celebrated its 25th Anniversary; “The Pulitzer Prize Winners: 10 Plays from 10 Decades,” a series of staged play readings for the North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Library, played to capacity audiences; and The Los Angeles Public Library featured ITC in its “LA Made” series. 2019 also marked the company’s 20th year of presenting staged readings of classic plays for UCLA School of Law.
As a result of the pandemic, Interact Theatre Company is now moving its energy and resources to providing content online.
Thank you for helping us grow and flourish, and especially in these most challenging times.
