No Scout Left Behind: Giving All Families the Opportunities of Scouting

This year's Gateway Area Scouting's Annual Lawn Social Fund-A-Need donations will go to our 'No Scout Left Behind' fund. This fund is available to help ensure every youth can fully participate in Scouting regardless of their family’s financial situation.

Families, or Scout Units, can request funds from the No Scout Left Behind fund to help:

• Cover part of the cost to attend a camp or Scouting event 
• Reduce the BSA annual registration fee ($75 annually) and/or cover the one-time new member Joining Fee ($25 the first time you join as a Scouting youth)
• Provide for a Scout’s handbook or other uniform items
• Assist with another need which may help a Scout to have the same experience that their peers are doing
