Welcome to St. Joseph the Worker Walkathon

On May 12, St. Joseph the Worker school students will embark on an annual walk to raise funds for our school.   This student led fundraiser is a fun way for students to help collect donations from family, friends, and neighbours.  All proceeds will support development of our current school playground to help ensure a fun and safe outdoor experience for the students.

Students will walk with their class, teacher, and parent volunteers for a fun and safe walk through our scenic city.  There will be water and snack stations throughout the walk for students to enjoy.

The Kindergarten class will walk approximately 5 km from the school to the Britannia Shipyard (Mirakami House) and return.

Grades 1 to Grade 7 classes will walk approximately 8 km from the school to Steveston, through Garry Point, along West Dyke trail and finally back along Williams Road to return the school.
