About Our Gingerbread Party
The Victoria Strauss Foundation was formed in 2021 to honor the life and legacy of Victoria Strauss, a beautiful and vivacious dancer who tragically passed in January of 2021. Victoria began dancing at the age of 6 and developed a deep passion that continued throughout the rest of her life. She was captain of the FAU Fly Girls dance team and qualified to be a Cincinnati Bengals dancer. Every Christmas, she hosted a Gingerbread party, which became an important tradition to honor friendship. The Victoria Strauss Foundation Annual Gingerbread Party celebrates her spirit and passion for dance through a continued tradition with renewed purpose.

The Plantation Golf Club in Venice, Florida
We will begin our event with mimosas for the adults and refreshments while we watch a beautiful dance performance and begin the silent auction. As the morning moves on, we will have a delicious brunch buffet and mingle together while we remember the life and legacy of Victoria. Young children will be able to decorate gingerbread and there will be a Christmas craft. We’ll celebrate the scholarship winners and finish with a toast to Victoria. The highlight of our event is extending scholarships to individuals that exemplify Victoria’s strong drive in education, passion for dance, and her heart.

The mission of the Victoria Strauss Foundation is to inspire and empower young people to live their fullest life and find inspiration through dance, education, and positive health and mental wellness. This embodies the life and legacy of Victoria and forever impact she will have on the community.
