When COVID-19 hit, VIPS quickly moved all education and intervention services to a virtual format. While the transition was not easy for our teachers and families, we are proud to say that we did not miss a single day of reaching our children and babies. Time does not stop for a child with a disability and neither does our agency in equipping and providing resources for our families. Now that our Kids Town Preschool is open for in-person school and summer programming and our families can have in-person home visits once again, we are anticipating more growth in 2021. VIPS serves a growing number of children every year and a pandemic should not delay the critical need for our services.
