Join us for the 14th annual Michigan-Michigan State VINA Tailgate on October 27 at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center.
At the Tailgate, you can expect an expansive silent auction full of sports tickets and memorabilia, fun trips and experiences, U of M and MSU decorations, fan gear, golf packages, dollar-for-dollar gift cards and more! There's a buffet dinner of delicious tailgate food, a cash bar, various games and raffles and tons of fun things to do during the event. It starts at 5:30 pm, don't miss out!
Bob Cernak will lead the Wolverines and George Moses will lead the Spartans.
Bob was a tight end at the University of Michigan with Harbaugh in the 80s and led the Wolverines to victory in the Tailgate last year. George is a Michigan State University alumnus and publisher of The Marketeer who was the winning captain of the virtual Tailgate party in 2020.
The Tailgate started in 2009 and we have kept track of the winning team each year.

The Wolverines were victorious last year with a VERY close finish!
Below are some of the pictures from last year's Tailgate, including the U of M flag still in VINA's window until this year's winner is declared.
VINA is a nonprofit dental clinic established in 2008 and located in Brighton, Michigan. All of the patients at VINA have no dental insurance and income at or below 225% of the Federal Poverty Level. The out-of-pocket cost of dental care is too great and many patients do not have access to affordable dental care without the services of VINA.
Many patients at VINA have not had dental care in years or even decades. Many experience frequent pain and other health complications from this lack of dental care. Oral health problems can prevent patients from receiving surgery or infection, taking a toll on overall health. VINA works to provide quality dental care and education to these underserved patients to improve health and quality of life.
VINA patients only pay $25 per appointment and $10 for routine hygiene visits. This reduced financial burden for patients helps restore smiles in the community. VINA is funded through special events, donations, and grants.
Services include: Oral Cancer Screenings & Oral Exams, Oral Surgery & Extractions, Fluoride Treatment, Cleanings, Fillings, X-Rays, Crowns
All proceeds from fundraising events help patients like Kim:
