About Our Event
The 4th Annual Ruck To Live presented by Veterans Connected is set for Saturday, September 28, 2024. This event aims to raise support for suicide prevention and mental health awareness among both veterans and civilians. With suicide rates rising in both military and civilian communities, we invite anyone battling suicidal thoughts or affected by suicide to join us under the theme "Together We Heal."
We hope you will join us with your family for this event. Families with children under 13 years old can do the one mile Ruck Walk starting at the mill pond in support of our mission, while 13+ years old can register to march the 8+ miles. On the one mile Ruck Patriotic Walk you will learn about the Branches of the Military, the American Flag and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Check-in at the Brighton Veterans Memorial - St. Paul Street near top of Veteran Memorial (220 N West St, Brighton, MI 48116)
7:00 a.m. - Check-in begins for Ruck
8:00 a.m. - 8 Mile Ruck departs
9:00 a.m. - 1 Mile Patriotic Walk begins
Registration includes t-shirt and lunch. Kids under 6 eat free with adult registrations.
