About Dinner in the Alley
This year marks a pivotal milestone for Verge. Dinner in the Alley serves as a celebration to commemorate the ten-year anniversary of our groundbreaking in 2013. In honor of this, we'll be recognizing the amazing community leaders and Verge champions who brought us to where we are today, especially the remarkable individuals who shared our vision and invested in us ten years ago.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour where guests are invited to tour the facility, including The First 10 Years, an exhibition commemorating Verge's artists and history from the day we moved into 625 S Street to the present. Following drinks, guests will assemble outdoors for a delicious dinner provided by Hawks Provisions + Public House.
On an annual basis we serve thousands of community members through exhibitions, educational programs, specialized resources, and resident studio space. Our ability to provide these vital resources to Sacramento is enabled by the support of our community — We hope that you will join us on May 20th to celebrate where we've been and where we're going!

- Prices vary depending on package purchased. See our Tickets & Sponsorships page for full details.
- Who can bid on auction items?
- Anyone! No tickets are required to set up an auction bidder profile through ClickBid, and registering as a bidder is fast and free. All you need is a valid credit cart + a few contact details to get started. Your card will not be charged until you are the winning bidder on an item or if you choose to make a donation to Verge to help us reach our auction fundraising goal.
- Where will my auction dollars go?
- Dollars raised at Dinner in the Alley directly support Verge Center for the Arts as we continue bringing the Sacramento region high quality arts programming in everything from our exhibitions to our youth education offerings. Learn more about Verge Center for the Arts by clicking here.
