Thank you for supporting the Torch of Wisdom Foundation, Inc. and Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club!
The Torch of Wisdom Foundation and Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club are uniting once again to host this online art auction featuring some of metro Detroit’s most esteemed artists. The organizations formed the partnership in 2018 to present an arts education program designed to teach individuals how to identify and invest in original fine art. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Torch of Wisdom Foundation's education programs.
The Torch of Wisdom Foundation, Inc (TOWF) is a 501c3 tax-exempt public charity that supports organizations and programs that promote scholastic achievement, cultural arts, and community enrichment. Established in 1993, the TOWF has provided measurable impact to southeastern Michigan through programming and funding initiatives focused on these areas. Mission: the Torch of Wisdom Foundation exists to support scholarship, cultural arts, and community enrichment.
The Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club (DFABC) is an art enthusiast group that supports the fine arts in the Detroit area. What started as a casual conversation about art between two friends at a local restaurant has transformed into a weekly affair where artists and art enthusiasts exchange ideas and support as well as see and buy original artwork. The organization started in 2009 and has grown in popularity in recent years, becoming a diverse group of artists, collectors, and enthusiasts. An estimated 100-125 people attend the meetings each week.
