WHY: Help raise crucial funds and awareness by supporting local Utah communities and families impacted by disabilities and special health care needs. Just $25 can provide a FREE one-on-one parent consultation meeting, which helps families get the resources and training they need to advocate for their loved ones.
For over 41 years, the Utah Parent Center has been serving families who have children of all ages who are impacted by disabilities and special health care needs. We provide valuable training, resources and information to individuals and families to help them be more successful. With YOUR support we will be able to build capacity and reach additional families in need!
My oldest daughter has autism and 22q13 deletion, or Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. For over 16 years, I have been very active as a volunteer and advocate in the autism community. Most of the resources and community I have gained in that time are a direct result of the work of the Utah Parent Center. I have seen so many changes and advances while looking for services for my daughter's educational and medical needs. One constant has been the resources available through the Utah Parent Center and their programs. We are now receiving appropriate services and I finally feel I have a great community to support her and our family. I am thankful for the UPC and hope I can use my experience with them as a parent to pay it forward.
