About the Foundation
The Tennessee Nurses Foundation (TNF) is a not-for-profit corporation formed by the Tennessee Nurses Association (TNA) in 1982. The Tennessee Nurses Foundation was founded to provide a mechanism for supporting programs that meet the needs of TNA members and non-members, as well as RN (non-licensed) nursing students in Tennessee.
TNF's mission is to promote professional excellence in Nursing. In FY 2023-2024, TNF funded over $60,000 in scholarships, nursing research grants, and through leadership nursing programs.
TNF receives its' funding through donations from nurses, as well as the general public or corporations, endowments, TNF's Nurses Change Lives specialty license plate, the yearly silent auction, and merchandise sales through the Bonfire program. Visit TNurses.Care/TNF.
