Golden Ticket:

Purchase one or more of the 100 golden tickets prior to the start of Bids for Kids event (through April 20). If your ticket is drawn, you will have your choice of ANY featured items, before the auction begins or $1000 CASH!! This is your chance to take home an incredible prize worth thousands for only $100. The drawing will take place Friday April 22nd at 10:00 a.m. prior to the start of Bids for Kids event. Purchase your golden ticket(s) while they last.

50/50:

Try your luck at winning lots of money! Order your 50/50 tickets by Wednesday April 20th, for your chance to win the pot. Half of the money will go to the school and other half goes to the guest with the winning ticket. Winner does not need to be present to win.

School Tuition Raffle:

Here’s your chance to win tuition at St. Michael Catholic School for the 2022-2023 school year. Winner does not need to be present to win.

  • Grand Prize: FREE TUITION at St. Michael Catholic School for the 2022-2023 school year (PreK-8) or $1000 cash. 
  • 2nd place will win $500 towards 2022-2023 tuition or $400 cash. 
  • 3rd place will win $300 towards 2022-2023 tuition or $200 cash.

Heads or Tails:

Join us for the grown-up version of "heads or tails" with a $500 grand prize! To play, purchase up to five necklaces. The game will be held after dinner during our in-person event. Everyone with a necklace will stand up. Each player will choose heads or tails. A coin will be flipped. Those with the correct choice remain standing. Others sit down, take off their necklace, and are eliminated from the game. If a player has more than one necklace, they must take one of them off and can remain standing. The game continues until only one player is left standing. This lucky person will win $500! Must be present to play!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLES?

Super easy! Fill out the online form indicating how many tickets you’d like to purchase for each game and submit online. Order form and payment need to be to the school office by 10am Wednesday April 20th, 2022. 

WHAT DO I WITH MY TUITION RAFFLE TICKETS THAT WERE SENT HOME?

Feel free to continue to sell the tuition raffle tickets that were sent home. If you need more, the school office has more available. Only fill out the raffle ticket order form if you’ve sold additional tickets beyond what you have at home.

HOW WILL THE VIRTUAL RAFFLE TICKET DRAWINGS WORK?

The winner of the Golden Ticket will be announced as our “kick off” to Bids for Kids. The winner will need to contact a Bids for Kids chair before 4:00 p.m. to claim their featured item or $1000 cash. If the winner does not reply by 4:00 p.m., they will automatically receive the $1000 cash prize option.

Drawings for both the 50/50 and the tuition raffle will take place after dinner during our live in-person event. You do not need to be in attendance to win. Winners will be notified by a Bids for Kids Chair following the event.

WHAT IS BIDS FOR KIDS? 

Bids for Kids is held annually and is one of St. Michael Catholic Schools biggest fundraisers of the year. This fun event is planned by a team of volunteers. All funds raised go directly to benefit our students and faculty at StMCS. The money raised is used to give our children a wonderful Catholic education by supporting investments in overall classroom enhancements, extracurricular activities, and retaining our stellar faculty and staff.

WHAT IS HAPPENING THE NIGHT OF BIDS FOR KIDS?

Doors will open at approximately 5:00 p.m. to those who purchased tickets to attend. Your first stop will be check-in where you'll grab your auction program and make sure you are set for mobile bidding. Then you're welcome to browse and bid on silent auction items (available from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.), purchase your 50/50 raffle tickets and beads for Heads or Tails all while enjoying cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music, friends, and more. At 6:40 p.m., we will be seated for dinner and start the excitement of the evening and more!

WHO CAN ATTEND BIDS FOR KIDS?

We welcome all St. Michael Catholic School and church parents, staff, alumni, friends, and those in the community that would like to enjoy an evening out while supporting a great cause. The auction is an ADULT only event. It is the perfect way to get to know people in a relaxed, fun environment. 

WHEN DO I PURCHASE TICKETS? 

Tickets are available to purchase beginning February 9th. We invite you to join us for a fun evening supporting StMCS. Please include your meal choice when purchasing tickets. Your ticket includes access to mobile bidding for the silent auction, happy hour, dinner and dessert. Ticket sales close Friday, April 15th, 2022. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

This is a fun event. We encourage "cocktail" or business attire or be creative and have fun with our construction theme!

IS SEATING RESERVED?

Yes and No! Upon check-in, you will receive a place card indicating your dinner preference for the evening. Feel free to go and set your place card at your spots at an unreserved table. There will be some reserved tables for our sponsors and those who purchased a whole table. 

WHAT IS MOBILE BIDDING?

We are excited to be partnering with ClickBid at our event. All silent auction bidding will be done via ClickBid. You will receive a link to use for bidding. Please remember to make sure your devices are fully charged the day of Bids for Kids.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS WILL BE AUCTIONED?

There are hundreds of unique items to bid on during our silent auction. The items range from classroom themed baskets, unique class projects, teacher coupon booklets, principal for the day, front row reserved seats at school programs, home items, vacation getaways, unique experiences, and everything in between. There truly is something for everyone.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS? 

When you arrive for the event, your credit card information will be confirmed.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AND AMERICAN EXPRESS. Following the event, a receipt will be emailed to you confirming your purchases.

CAN I DONATE ITEMS?

We will happily accept new, unused items for the silent auction. All items must be delivered to StMCS by March 25th, 2022. To access the donation form, CLICK HERE.
