The Spruill Center of the Arts announces the 38th Annual Artistic Affair, a premier event taking place on the center's campus on Saturday, March 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Marking the celebration of the Spruill Center's new building expansion and courtyard, this year's Artistic Affair promises an unforgettable evening of art-based experiences. The event aims to raise funds to support arts programming and outreach for the upcoming year, following last year's success that saw 368 guests raise more than $80,000.

Highlights of Artistic Affair 2024

Silent Auction: Explore exquisite artwork by Spruill artists, including unique paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and metalwork.

Live Auction: Bid on a very special bottle of Pappy van Winkle 12 year Special Reserve or unique experiences, such as an art piece painted live during the event by artist Leslie Cannon. (Bidders must be present to win)

Cigartainment Bourbon Lounge: Immerse yourself in the art of cigar rolling by Sweigart Cigar Co., complemented by Short Barrel Bourbon and Old Fourth Distillery select tastings of four bourbons and ryes.

"Rock-Paper-Scissors" Raffle Drawings: Participate in competition-style raffles for the chance to win the Spruill Board Fine Wine Collection and a $1,000 shopping spree from Lauderhilll’s Fine Jewelry.

Entertainment: Enjoy sleight-of-hand magic from conjuror Chris Moorman, mysteries revealed by our favorite team of fortune tellers, and contour portraits drawings by Spruill artists John Doane (@renman68) and Timothy Vojta. The Boogie, Funk and Groove Band will entertainment with a variety of music from blues rock to Motown.

"Best Dressed" Award: Stand a chance to win the "Best Dressed" award by showcasing the crowd-favorite, artsiest attire.

2024 Bob Kinsey Award: Find out who will be the recipient of this year's prestigious award.
