The inaugural Mayors Gala was held in 2010 to introduce residents from Stratford, St. Marys and across Perth County to the Community Foundation and its vital role in community investment. Named for the support and participation of all the Mayors from across Perth County, Stratford and St. Marys, the annual Mayors Gala is a celebration of the spirit and the power of philanthropy.
The Mayors Gala is one of the ‘premiere’ events in Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County’s social calendar. Known for its elegance and free flowing itinerary, the Gala is attended annually by 250 business and community leaders from across Perth County, and also draws attendees from the Toronto, London and Waterloo Region.
An elegant cocktail-type social affair, guests mingle with old friends, and new alike, and enjoy entertainment, silent auction and gourmet food stations. Net proceeds from this signature fundraiser provide vital funds to support the Community Foundation’s annual operations and outreach activities.
