An unforgettable evening is planned at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe, at the Spark of Hope Tribute Gala, a premier event celebrating excellence, generosity, and community impact. This year, we are proud to honor Patrick A. Rugiero with the Lifetime Achievement Award and Rod Alberts with the Guiding Light Award, recognizing their outstanding leadership and dedication to philanthropy.
Founded in Detroit in 1973, Life Directions focus is in motivating youth and young adults ages 13 to 35 in public schools and their surrounding neighborhoods -- to mature into responsible, productive members of the community through self-direction and core mentorship programs. Spanning over 50 years, Life Directions has a proven track record of serving and inspiring more than 180,000 young adults since its inception with their preventative programming approach.
