Auction Rules

The silent auction closes Monday, February 28, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. All prizes will be awarded as listed. Arrangements to deliver your prize will be made starting Wednesday, March 2.  A credit card is required to register for bidding and can be used to finalize payment for a successful bid at checkout.  

For all prizes that include a private in-person experience, COVID19 rules and regulations will apply. If due to unforeseen circumstances arrangements cannot be made to fulfil the terms of your prize, the prize will not be awarded and a charitable tax receipt will be issued for the full amount of your bid. 

Live out of town?

People living outside of Winnipeg are welcome to bid on items.  We will happily make arrangements to deliver your prize to you.  Shipping costs may apply.  

Charging your School Account 

For current SJR parents, charging your School Account will be an option. Once the auction closes, if you do not checkout and pay for your items by credit card, you will automatically be checked out on Tuesday, March 1 and your School Account will be charged.  You will receive an email confirming the amount charged to your account. 

Issuing of Charitable Tax Receipts

In accordance with CRA, a charitable tax receipt will be issued for outright donations only.  If you are the successful bidder of an auction item and your bid is in excess of the listed Fair Market Value, a tax receipt will be issued for the amount in excess of the listed Fair Market Value.
