About Our Event
Please join us for a community event to end homelessness! Together we will carry on the tradition of the 1920's Harlem Rent Parties, when neighbors came together for a party that raised rent for their neighbors. Your participation directly supports our three programs - the Day Shelter and Social Services Center, Street Outreach, and Permanent Supportive Housing. The contributions of our sponsors and guests allow St. John Center to be a place of refuge and resources where people experiencing homelessness can seek help, find hope, and move home.
At Raisin' the Rent you'll enjoy a delicious light buffet dinner, have the opportunity to bid on a variety of quality live and silent auction items, and gather in wonderful company in an act of solidarity and friendship. Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets here in advance of March 7th! The drawing will be that night at 8:30. You do not have to be present to win.
