About the Organization
United Way of Northwest Alabama's Mission is: Uniting Northwest Alabama to impact access to health, education, and financial stability through an equitable and strategic lens. Our Board of Directors has determined seven impact goals to focus on over the next five years. Those goals are:
- Improve Access to Mental Healthcare.
- Increase Literacy by 4th Grade.
- Improve Access to Healthcare.
- Improve Mental Health among Children and Youth.
- Improve Financial Skills for Adults.
- Increase Access to Transportation.
- Increase Access to Affordable, Low-Income Housing.
