About Our Event


Get ready for a hot Havana Night this fall with our Sacred Heart Parish & Academy Auction! This time, we've gone completely bananas and created a hybrid auction experience for all of our supporters and friends to enjoy! What do we mean by hybrid? It means you are invited to participate LIVE in-person at the Goei Center, LIVE ONLINE from home, or LIVE with FRIENDS (plan your own WATCH PARTY) or LIVE from vacation or wherever you are!


That's right, you will be BIDDING LIVE from wherever you are!

 

We're still working out details, but here's what we know:

  • You will be able to view prizes and purchase RAFFLE TICKETS online beginning on Monday September 13, 2021 and on event night.
  • SILENT AUCTION packages are will be offered from our Academy grades to the highest bidder.
  • We will have HEART-TO-HEART tables at the event to support specific needs of our parish and academy.
  • Enjoy a delicious STROLLING DINNER at the event with "Cuban" flare and plenty of gluten-free items.
  • During the LIVE AUCTION portion of the evening, live bidding will happen:
    • in person at the event on your own portable devices (a proxy will be offered to assist those who are less confident with technology).
    • online for those who are logging in remotely from various locations

  • Sacred Heart Parish and Academy needs your support! We are 100% privately funded and rely on tuition and contributions from donors to provide an authentically Catholic, classical education and culture for our students and their families. In order to keep our tuition affordable and to provide scholarship funds for many families in need, we must raise funds at this auction as well as other fundraisers throughout the year. We can't do this without you!

  • Please note that anything you purchase tonight (raffle tickets, silent auction items, hosted parties, Heart to Heart table items, live auction items) will be “charged” to your bid number and tracked on the your wristlet punch ticket that you will be given upon your arrival.  These charges for the evening may paid for through Express Checkout or via your mobile device.
  • Get ready for tons of energy and excitement in a beautiful setting
  • Enjoy the on-site only Wine Pull and Cigar Wrapping Bar. We will have a professional cigar roller on site!
  • Connect with your community for food, spirits and fellowship
  • Speak to clergy, teachers, administrators and families and hear firsthand about the needs of our school and parish
  • Be social with good people for a great cause

Welcome to your Strolling Dinner & Heart to Heart Table portion of the evening!


Heart to Heart tables Contain Gifts that Keep Giving!

Our Heart to Heart Tables are filled with items that give you a chance to help Sacred Heart meet real needs with gifts that keep giving.  For example, at a Heart to Heart Table you could help to expand the school’s library collection or provide hymnals for the parish. With the wide array of Heart to Heart Table sponsorships available, you are free to put your donation where your heart is. 


Heart to Heart Tables Double Donations! 

For every dollar you give at a Heart to Heart Table, another dollar is donated to Sacred Heart. This dollar-for-dollar match was made possible thanks to the generosity of both corporate and individual donors from  Sacred Heart  Parish and Academy who pooled their money to form these matching dollars.  The goal is to work collectively to fulfill ALL of the Heart to Heart needs so Sacred Heart Parish and Academy can receive ALL of the grant money available.

 

Heart to Heart Tables are 100% Tax Deductible! 

There are no minimum bids at a Heart to Heart Table and whatever amount you choose to give is 100% tax deductible. Remember, every dollar donated gets us closer to exhausting the dollar-for-dollar match money available for our Sacred Heart Community!

Heart to Heart Tables are Fun!

 

HEART TO HEART DOOR PRIZE! 

Visit all Heart to Heart Tables to receive a punch on your Heart to Heart Ticket (given to you upon check-in). Guests with all numbers punched will be eligible to enter the Heart to Heart Ticket drawing to win an amazing prize. There is NO gift requirement to receive a punch. Guests can show their completed punches at the Raffle Table to receive their complimentary entry ticket prior to the 7:45 pm drawing in the ballroom. 


HEART TO HEART TABLE CLOSEOUT & GIFTS!

If you hear sounds of celebration in the Heart to Heart room, our emcee will announce that a table is closed for bidding and our need is met....thank you! If you are the highest bidder at a Heart to Heart Table you will receive a special gift of literature or fine art we used as a measurement piece at that Heart to Heart table.
