About the Foundation
The Special Education Foundation (SEF) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering students with disabilities in St. Louis County. Our mission is to provide resources and opportunities that go beyond what tax dollars can support, ensuring every student can achieve their full potential.
Through SEF, we offer a range of programs and initiatives designed to support and enhance the educational experiences of these students, including:
- Classroom Innovation Grants: Supporting innovative projects by SSD teachers to enrich student learning.
- Adaptive Equipment: Providing tools that enhance independence and improve quality of life.
- Scholarships: Assisting successful students in continuing their education.
