About Root for Kids
Root for Kids is a non-profit organization located in Southern Utah that provides services for children and families in need of extra support. We help families create a nurturing environment for optimal growth and development for each child. Since 1993, we have served over 19,000 families through our home visiting programs and childcare partnerships in Washington County Utah, San Juan County Utah, and the Arizona Strip.

Your support at our Secret Garden Gala will provide access to early education programs for the smallest members of our community. The resources and services we provide at Root for Kids strengthen the roots of families and nourishes their child's beginnings. Your donations will allow us to expand our impact and reach more families in our community.
Ways in which your gift will make a difference include:
- Provide one week of diapers for a baby in need
- Provide support and specialized feeding equipment for premature babies
- Provide a session of speech, physical, or occupational therapy to a child in need
- Provide one semester of music therapy classes for one child
- Provide preventative care including vision, dental, and hearing
- Provide mental health therapy to a parent of a young child living in a stressful situation
Our mission to nurture strong beginnings for infants and toddlers is more important than ever.
