About Our Event

Join us for this 2025 Goin' on Safari event, our Rotary Club's annual fundraiser. This is where we raise the funds that support the projects we do in the community and the world, such as:

  • Giving free dictionaries to third graders
  • Awarding college scholarships at Montgomery High School, Piner High School, Roseland University Prep and Roseland Collegiate Prep
  • Sponsoring a high school student in a construction vocational program
  • Beautifying schools with new landscaping and tool sheds
  • Sending kids and teens to a variety of camps
  • Installing solar cookers and planting trees in Uganda
  • Sending medical kits and generators to Ukraine


Each year we designate a beneficiary to be our fund-a-need recipient. We are proud to announce that we have selected Safari West Wildlife Foundation (SWWF) to receive the funds raised during the "raise your paddle" portion of the event. The SWWF funds experiences at the Safari West Wildlife Preserve through live and online programming. They strive to inspire school children by engaging them in educational opportunities through direct wildlife encounters. We are excited to support the essential work the SWWF does, and we hope you'll join us with your generosity.


This safari-themed event is going to be exciting. There will be a live auction, a delicious Africa-inspired dinner provided by Sally Tomatoes, and a hosted bar with sparkling wine, wine, beer, and other mixed drinks. We'll have many games to play, including: wine keys with only one that will open a mini-fridge stocked full of premium wines; golden tickets that will allow the winner to pick any live auction item (with some exceptions); and a dessert frenzy. We encourage attendees to dress in safari/animal-print attire. Entertainment will include African music and dancers. It's going to be a fun evening!


The cost for individual tickets is $150. Event and table sponsorships are available at the levels below. All sponsors will get their company logo on all marketing materials and announcements for the event.

  • Gold Level - $2,500 (includes a table for 10 and a half page ad in the program)
  • Silver Level - $2,000 (include a table for 8 and a half page ad in the program)
  • Table Sponsor Level - $1,500 (includes a table for 8 and a quarter page ad in the program)
  • Bronze Level - $750 (includes 2 tickets to the event)
