Launched with just a handful of friends by François Pasquier in 1988, Le Dîner en Blanc® de Paris continues to assemble close to 10,000 guests every year. In 2018 a record 17,000 guests from Paris and around the world gathered at the Esplanade des Invalides to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The French capital's most prestigious sites have played host to the event over the years: The Pont des Arts, the Eiffel Tower, Place Vendôme, the Château de Versailles, the Esplanade de Notre-Dame, the periphery of the Place de l'Étoile, the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Pyramid, Trocadéro Esplanade, and the Palais Royal Garden! The event is celebrated the world over now and invitations are highly sought after.
The Parents’ Association has decided to do a spin-off of this iconic event to celebrate the beautiful grounds of our own space, build community with each other, enjoy music and laughter, and maybe win a few prizes.
