Farm to Table Dinner at Riveredge



Join Riveredge Nature Center in celebrating 56 years of environmental education and conservation at our annual gala. This evening beneath the stars brings community together to support our mission, expanding our legacy of environmental conservation and capacity to create connections to nature for all people.


ORDER OF EVENTS


4:30 PM - Welcome and Social Hour in the Yard*

*Updated location to ensure all guests, regardless of their mobility, can participate in the festivities


• Complimentary beer and wine begins

• Appetizers served

• Optional hike through the beautiful Larsen Prairie

• Silent auction


6:00 PM - Farm Feast and Program in the Yard


• Seating in the main tent begins, following optional yard games

• Farm-to-table feast with ingredients from local farms, including the Riveredge Farm

• Live auction and program

• Dessert and fellowship


DISTINGUISHED GUEST EMCEE JIM PASCHKE


Jim Paschke's nearly 50-year career in sports broadcasting included 41 years covering Wisconsin sports. Jim served as the television voice of the Milwaukee Bucks for 35 seasons, retiring in 2021 after the Bucks won their second NBA Championship. 

We are thrilled to have Jim with us as the evening's distinguished guest emcee.

FAQ

What is the menu? I have food allergies/sensitivities.

  • Please list any food allergies or sensitivities that you or any of your guests have during registration and we will work with you to make sure there are options for you. You can also email rbuchholz@riveredge.us with any specific concerns. A full menu will be sent to attendees before the event.
    Riveredge Sustainable Farm is proud to be the source of much of the produce for the dinner.

What should I wear?

  • Attire is casual and comfortable.

    The dinner is held outside under a tent in the yard of the Visitor Center. Heaters and sides will be added to the tent for cooler weather, but please take the temperature into account when choosing an outfit.

Where do I park?

  • Parking will be at the Visitor Center. Our parking lot can get pretty full for large events such as this so please consider carpooling if you are coming with other guests.

Are my tickets/auction purchases/event contributions tax deductible?

  • A portion of your tickets is deductible. $100 of individual tickets and $800 of tables of 8 are tax deductible.

    A tax receipt will be emailed after the event with a summary of all your contributions and the tax deductible portions.

  • If you have any accessibility concerns for the event, please reach out to the office at 262-375-2715.

    The Access Ability Wisconsin Outdoor Wheelchair is available to reserve for the event. Please contact the office for details on how to reserve the chair.
