About The River School Scholarship Auction

What is the event timeline?

The River School Scholarship Auction is in The River School gym which will be transformed with an Après Ski theme. Doors open at 7:00 pm and our emcee, Danny Rouhier, will lead us through the evening and also serve as our auctioneer. The formal program begins at 8:00 pm with our $10,000 tuition raffle drawing, followed by the live auction. The dance floor opens at 9:00 pm. The event concludes at 11:00 pm.

What is the theme and attire?

Après Ski is this year's theme! In that spirit, we encourage you to wear attire from any era inspired by winter, skiing, snowboarding, or winter recreation or simply your favorite relaxing outfit for hanging out by the fire. Casual wear is welcome including jeans, tees, and flannel shirts. Feel free to dress up in cocktail attire as well.   

Who is the caterer?

We are finalizing our caterer but anticipate ski-themed selections and cocktails. Offerings will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

What is the $10,000 Tuition Raffle?

This is your chance to win $10,000 in tuition to any school, college or university in the United States!

• Anyone can buy tickets. 
• There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy.
• Tickets are $150.
• Only 250 tickets available. 
• Winning ticket will be drawn live February 7, 2026, during the Scholarship Auction. 
• Family Sponsor Packages include raffle tickets but you can always buy more for more chances to win big!
• Raffle ticket purchases are NOT tax-deductible as a raffle is a game of chance.
• Funds must be expended by August 31, 2026.
  
  

What is the Silent Auction?

The Silent Auction, which is part of the evening event, opens February 6 and closes February 8. 

You will receive a text when the Silent Auction opens on February 6. In the mobile bidding system, you can track items you have bid on and you can also mark your favorites. You will receive notifications if you are outbid. By setting Auto Bid, the system will bid for you starting at the next bid up to your highest bid. If you are the winning bidder at the close of the Auction, you will be notified via text message. You can check out online by accessing the shopping cart. 

If you cannot make the event, you can still participate in the Silent Auction.

What is the Live Auction? 

Incredible live auction packages will be up for competitive bidding at the event.
