Welcome to the official bidding site of the 2023 VanderLeek Cup Hospice Regatta! Bidders can use this site to register, view auction items, see winnings, and check out from their phone.

This year, silent auction bidding will occur on paper bid sheets rather than with mobile bidding. However, guests still must register to participate in the auction. Register in advance through the "Register Now" link above in order to start bidding as soon as you arrive!

How to Bid on Event Day


Due to popular demand, we are returning to paper bid sheets this year! Although you may access the mobile bidding site to view auction items, there will be NO ONLINE BIDDING. Bidders will use the paper bid sheets found with each auction item.

  • Log in or register by entering your phone number or email in the box above and tap "GO." You may also register at the Auction Volunteer table. 
  • You will receive an email or text with a one-time Login Code.
  • Enter the code and click “Next.” (The code will expire after 15 minutes). Confirm your name then click "Continue."
  • To place a bid, please write your name, bidder number, and bid amount on the item's corresponding bid sheet.
  • Once the auction is over, you can securely checkout from your phone. As soon as checkout is available, a red "Pay!" button will appear at the top of your bidding screen. Tap on this button to proceed to checkout and pay with the credit card you registered with.

How do I get a bidder number?
Register here or see our auction volunteers on event day to receive a bidder number. 

I entered the wrong name/email/phone number when I registered. How can I update my information?
Use the Blue Gear icon in the top left corner of the bidding site to update your information at any time. You may also see one of our volunteers to help you.

How do I find out if I won?
You can use the bidding site to see if you won. Go to Menu → My Items  to view everything that you have won. You will also receive a congratulatory text message.

How can I contribute an auction item?
If you would like to donate an item for the auction, please complete the form below or contact Fund Development Manager Mark Lazarock at 616.355.5561 or mlazarock@hollandhospice.org.


Auction Rules


By bidding in Hospice of Holland's silent auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.

Bidders must be registered to participate in the auction. Once the auction is closed, the highest bidder is the winner. In the event of a dispute, a representative of Hospice of Holland will act as the final authority. Purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. The bidder will be responsible for arranging for trips, parties, meals, etc. within the prescribed time limit and according to constraints set forth by the item donor. All items are “as is.” Hospice of Holland has attempted to describe and catalog items appropriately, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, or condition of the items.
