About the Event

Our Spring Soiree will feature silent and live auctions with a fantastic array of goods and services from businesses across Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties and delicious food and cocktails, all under the stars. You’ll hear from PPSP staff, supporters, and constituents as they share their personal stories of PPSP’s critical reproductive and sexual health care, education, and advocacy.

As we embark on our first in-person event since 2019, we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. Our event will be held in an open-air tent with room for social distancing and spaces outside the tent for socializing. Proof of vaccination will be required for attendance. Rather than offer a seated dinner, we will invite guests to enjoy food and refreshments at spaced seating throughout the tent.

FAQ

Where is the Philander Chase Knox Estate?

This historic estate is located just over the Knox Covered Bridge in a picturesque setting within Valley Forge National Historic Park at 151 Library Lane in Malvern.

What type of parking will be available at the event?

We will provide free valet parking for all guests.

Will proof of vaccination be required for attendance?

Yes, PPSP will be requiring proof of vaccination for attendance. PPSP requires all individuals who do not have a religious or medical exemption to have received their full Covid-19 vaccine series (two-dose or single dose) and vaccine booster shot once eligible. Exemptions to this requirement should be emailed to Elizabeth.McNally@ppsp.org prior to the night of the event.

Why are you implementing a vaccination policy for this event?

As a trusted healthcare provider and community leader, PPSP must do everything it can to promote and protect public health. We have adopted this policy to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees and their families; our patients and volunteers; our donors; and the community from COVID-19 – an infectious disease that may be mitigated through an effective vaccination program and other measures, such as masks and social distancing.

Is the venue accessible to those with disabilities?

Yes, there are ramps into the tent as well as an accessible bathroom in the main house.

How do I request an accommodation?

If you require accommodations to attend the event, please either include the request during registration checkout, or contact Beth McNally at (215) 351-5530 or Elizabeth.McNally@ppsp.org.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Planned Parenthood Southeastern PA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

What does my sponsorship, ticket purchase, or donation support?

All event revenue supports PPSP's programs and services in our health centers, through our education programs, and in our advocacy work. The items associated with each sponsorship and ticket level give a sense of the breadth of services we provide and their costs. In order for PPSP to have maximum flexibility to direct funds where they are most needed, these gifts are unrestricted.

I do not wish to support the event by credit card, can I mail in a check?

Yes, donations, sponsorships, and individual reservations can be made by check. Please include a note with your check indicating your gift is for the PPSP Spring Soiree. Checks should be made out to PPSP and mailed to: PPSP Attn: Development, 1144 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
