About

Join us for Pacific Primary’s Here Comes the Sun Auction, 50th Anniversary Celebration on March 15, 2025—our community’s biggest annual fundraising event.

Pacific Primary exists today because of the generosity of past families who invested in its inclusive, loving community. Now it's our turn—current and alumni families alike—to ensure Pacific Primary’s mission continues to thrive for another generation.

Join us in celebrating 50 years of nurturing children into confident, creative thinkers ready to make a difference.

THE PARTY (IN-PERSON!)

THE SILENT AUCTION (ONLINE!)

Monday, March 10 - Friday, March 28

The silent auction (more on that below) will go live on the Monday before the live event and will stay open a week after the party for more bidding!

Both the party and the silent auction are vital fundraisers for the school—helping to provide an inclusive, nurturing environment for all students. Pacific Primary is a 501(c) nonprofit organization. Our tax ID is 23-7373767. Your gifts may be tax-deductible; consult a tax professional for details. If you have any questions, please contact giving@pacificprimary.org

FAQ

New to the Pacific Primary community?

Learn all about us by visiting our website

When and where is the party event taking place?

Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 6-10 PM at SomArts

Do I have to be 21 years of age to attend?

Yes, all guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

What should I wear?

Wear what makes you comfortable. If that’s a tuxedo or ball gown, own it! If it’s a cocktail dress or jeans, rock it! The cocktail reception is hosted outside on the patio and dinner and dancing will take place indoors, so dress accordingly.

How do I purchase a ticket(s)?

What should I expect at the party on Saturday, March 15?

Well, we don’t want to ruin all the surprises. But here’s a peek at what to expect:

6 - 7 PMish Outdoor Cocktail hour (dress for the weather!) with wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages

Mingle with old friends, and meet new people, all while:

  • Browsing and bidding on silent auction items and Count-Me-Ins (CMI). (CMIs are a Pacific Primary tradition! They are unique, community-driven experiences where multiple participants can "count themselves in.”

  • Purchase raffle tickets (tiered pricing, all with great prizes!)

  • Play our Mystery Graduation Arch Wine Pull game - purchase mystery bottles of wine for a chance to receive a surprise selection

  • Outfit yourself in fresh new PP gear

7PM ish Seated Dinner & Program with the opportunity to participate in the live auction and Paddles for Peace pledge drive.

9 - 10PM Dance, boogie, groove, get down!

What is Paddles for Peace?

Paddles for Peace is a special giving opportunity during the auction when guests can raise their paddles to donate at various levels in support of Pacific Primary.

Paddles for Peace happens during the live auction portion of the evening. The auctioneer announces amounts and asks attendees who want to contribute at that level to raise their paddles.

This year, as we celebrate Pacific Primary's 50th anniversary, we have a special opportunity to recognize how each generation of parents and children has benefited from the generosity of those who came before them. Now, it is our turn—both current and alumni families—to continue this tradition of giving, ensuring that Pacific Primary thrives for the next generation of families and children.

Take a moment before the auction to think about what you want to give—any amount is deeply meaningful and benefits the school directly—and get to let the LOVE LEAD YOU when the time comes!

Can’t make the party or prefer to keep a lower profile—no problem. You can raise your paddle virtually now!

Who do I contact if have dietary restrictions or require additional accessibility accommodations?

Please contact auction@pacificprimary.org
