Join us on September 23rd, as we celebrate the return of the annual Storybook Gala. This event brings together Chicago Public School partners, philanthropists, corporate sponsors, the WFF-Pitch In Team, and the occasional celebrity guest to support the Pitch In Program. Cocktail hour will begin at 6pm, with an inspiring program to take place during dinner after 7p. You won't want to miss the Live Auction and the After Party. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
About the Foundation
The Wood Family Foundation annually selects a children's book and creates a theme of fun and inspiring messages. This year What do you do with a problem? by Kobi Yamada has inspired the theme "Magnifying Possibility." This evening, we will gather to celebrate all that is possible for the 250 students the Pitch In Program serves in North Lawndale, Humboldt Park, and Englewood. This event will raise at least $500k and these resources will enable us to invest in middle school students by pairing academic with social emotional support this school year. Join us!
Thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors!
