2020 Chair Affair

Silent Auction

About the Chair Affair

The Chair Affair showcases the teamwork and creativity of prominent local artists and designers who take inspiration from our Philadelphia Furniture Bank to repurpose and reimagine pieces of furniture to create original works of art. We were thrilled to work with such talented artists this year and hope you'll enjoy bidding virtually on the items!

All funds raised through the Chair Affair benefit the Philadelphia Furniture Bank, which opened in 2014 with the belief that no child should sleep on the floor, no family should be without a dinner table, and everyone should have a place to store clothes and treasured belongings. The Philadelphia Furniture Bank supports individuals and families exiting homelessness, youth aging out of foster care, victims of domestic violence, and other populations that struggle with homelessness and housing insecurity.

By supporting the Chair Affair, you are generously helping individuals and families in deep poverty who are moving out of homelessness to receive much-needed furniture. Your support will enable us to furnish the homes of more than 1,000 families this year, which creates the stability and dignity that everyone deserves.
