Q: I like to make my final bids at the last minute, but I don't know if I'll be online as 10:30 pm approaches on Closing night of the auction. How can I make sure I can get my last minute bids in?
A: For items you'd like to bid on, we encourage you to click on the "Bid/Info" button and then use the "BID/SET MAX" feature. This feature allows you to set the maximum amount you want to bid on a particular item, but it will only increase your bids incrementally as others bid against you. It does all the work for you, and ensures you're not outbid at the last moment!
Q: Do I have to be present to win or pay for my items?
A: No, you don't have to be present to win. The credit card you used when you registered for the auction will be automatically charged for your winning items.
Q: How do I pick up the items that I won?
A: You can pick up your winning items on Sunday, 10/15 at Cinestudio. Auction representatives will be available at the theater from 2 - 5 PM and 7 - 10 PM on Sunday.
Q: Do I need to buy a ticket to the movie to pick up my items?
A: No, you will be able to pick up your items even if you don't buy a ticket to the movie (though the movies on Sunday are fantastic, so we're sure you'd enjoy them).
Q: What if I can't make it to the theater on Sunday? How do I get my items?
A: Smaller items (i.e., gift cards) can be mailed to your home; for larger items, you can contact us at auction@outfilmct.org to make other arrangements.
