Our Legacy

The Ransom Memorial Hospital Charitable Association, Inc. was established in 1991. The organization has a longstanding tradition of supporting and improving the health and wellness of our community. We are proud to carry our momentum forward into the next phase of our hospital’s future. Following Ransom Memorial Health’s transition to AdventHealth Ottawa, the Ransom Memorial Hospital Charitable Association, Inc.’s Board of Directors determined to do business as The AdventHealth Ottawa Foundation.*

The AdventHealth Ottawa Foundation remains an independent 501(c)(3) organization, and 100% of all donations stay in the Franklin County community. The mission of the Foundation is to inspire philanthropy in our community to support the healing mission of AdventHealth Ottawa.

Funds raised by the Foundation have supported several capital improvement projects including the expansion of the Emergency Department, the relocation of the in-house Pharmacy, and the recent renovation of the Ambulatory Surgery area. Contributions have also been used for the purchase of updated medical equipment and programs that will have a life-changing, positive impact on the overall health of patients served.

Proceeds from the Legacy Celebration event will benefit the capital projects currently taking place at AdventHealth Ottawa. Thank you for your involvement and philanthropy! Your generosity continues the Foundation’s legacy of support.
