Kickstart Our Campaign: Support Wildlife Education and Conservation
The Nature Center’s animal ambassadors create unforgettable connections with our visitors, fostering a deep appreciation for our native wildlife. To continue forging these meaningful bonds and teaching the importance of environmental stewardship, we need your help to renovate and expand our bird enclosures, or “mews.”
Our 20+ year old mews are a key feature of the Ogden Nature Center, greeting guests as they arrive. Our Master Plan has identified these enclosures as a top priority, and now it’s time to take action. We’re launching a campaign to raise $1 million to provide our hawks, owls, and corvids with bigger, better homes that meet new regulatory standards.
Why Support?
Enhance Animal Welfare: Provide safer, more comfortable homes for our birds, ensuring they thrive in our care.
Expand Capacity: Upgrade our mews to welcome more birds in need and expand our educational outreach.
Enrich Education: Improve our facilities to offer more engaging and impactful learning experiences for visitors.
Meet New Standards: Ensure our enclosures comply with updated regulations, supporting the highest standards of animal care.
By contributing to our “Fund the Need” campaign, you’re not just improving our facilities—you’re investing in the future of wildlife education and conservation. Join us in making this vital project a reality!
