Who? Crew isn't just for our kids - it's for our community! We are all crew, not passengers! Bring your neighbors, bring your friends - all are welcome! As much as we love fundraising for our school, this is also about building our community!
What? Our community comes together for an evening to fundraise through buy-a-shares, silent and live auctions, and paddle raises while coming together, making an impact, and celebrating what makes us Odyssey and building community!

Why?
What is a "Sneaker Ball," Exactly? Imagine a dress-up affair that breaks all the rules – it's the Sneaker Ball! Ditch the traditional footwear and have some fun! From matching tracksuits to sequined prom dresses, anything goes as long as your sneakers steal the spotlight. It's not just about the outfit; it's about supporting our school and community! Get ready to eat, drink, bid, and dance the night away! The “silver” element in our theme is a tribute to Odyssey’s 25th anniversary – the “silver anniversary!” We have so much to celebrate. Here's a little inspo for ya!
Odyssey School of Denver Auction Lingo | How We Fundraise
BUY-A-SHARE: a party hosted by a family (or families) for kids, adults, or families. At the auction, a specific number of tickets (or “shares”) to the event will be sold. Dates and an explanation of the party will be described on the bidding item online. People sign up for your event by buying a "share" at the auction. Buy-a-Share prices vary based on the experience; quantities are limited and open at 6 pm on March 18.
LIVE AUCTION: Unique items and experiences will be bid on during a live auction toward the end of the evening!
PADDLE RAISES: Upon entering the auction, you will be given a bidder number to raise your paddle to donate to specific causes or bid on live auction items.
SILENT AUCTION: Bid against your friends for fabulous items and experiences ranging from summer camps, cultural and sporting events, dining, and fun family experiences.
TEACHER TREASURES: Our teachers and staff donate experiences you can purchase, giving your child and their favorite faculty an opportunity to have fun outside the classroom. Again, dates and descriptions will be described on the bidding item online. All 2024 Teacher Treasures are $35 per student; quantities are limited and open at 6 pm the night of the auction.
