One of Marye Miller’s final wishes was to host a modern, stress-free No Bake Sale—and we're honored to carry it out in her memory.

We are going to skip the baking of a traditional bake sale.  Instead of rolling out dough or preheating your oven, we invite you to participate in our No Bake Sale.  It’s simple, fun, and hassle-free.  Look at our "bakery menu" below and pick your favorite treat to "purchase" and support vulnerable seniors in need.

Please note, no mixing, measuring, or calories involved! 

These items are symbolic only.  NO BAKED GOODS WILL BE SENT UNLESS LISTED IN THE AUCTION SECTION.

The Marye with an "e" Endowment is hosting an exciting online silent auction and fundraising campaign May 18th - May 24th to support the “Forgotten Middle” seniors who struggle with financial challenges for care and basic living expenses.  

Join in on the fun and discover stunning handmade pottery (with a baking theme) or simply donate to the No Bake Sale campaign while making a difference! 

About the Marye with an "e" Endowment

The Marye with an “e” Endowment Emergent Grant Fund, in partnership with the Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation, provides financial assistance for seniors in the “Forgotten Middle” who face unexpected, urgent expenses for daily living. This grant program is designed to support seniors who, while not eligible for Medicaid or other low-income assistance programs, still face financial challenges when emergencies arise.

Marye Miller’s compassion and dedication to seniors inspired the creation of the “Marye with an “e” Endowment,” which supports seniors who face financial challenges with care or basic living expenses. This endowment ensures vital assistance reaches local seniors in need. Marye was a fierce advocate for seniors, tirelessly addressing critical gaps in care to ensure that no senior was overlooked, and she became a trusted staple of her community through her selfless dedication.

Our 2024 Impact

In 2024, the endowment made a meaningful impact by supporting local seniors facing unexpected financial and health challenges. Through grants, these seniors received assistance with essential needs such as utilities, groceries, and car insurance, helping them maintain stability and independence.

SUCCESS STORIES:

• Fred, 83 - A grant provided funding for a new mattress and bed frame, improving comfort and rest for one senior.

• Julia, 78 - This Parkinson’s patient received 30 days of respite care, offering much-needed relief for both the individual and their caregiver.

• Susanna, 87 - The endowment covered hospice needs to ensure compassionate end-of-life care.

• Bill, 79 - It also funded a mobility hitch and installation to improve transportation access for a senior with severe back issues.

These efforts reflect the heart of the endowment’s mission — to support seniors in the "Forgotten Middle" who often struggle with urgent or unexpected expenses. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we continue to uphold Marye Miller’s legacy by ensuring local seniors receive the care and assistance they deserve.
