About Our Event
The Black Tie for the Y is an elegant evening celebrating the lives of those touched by cancer in Muskegon County. The Livestrong with the YMCA program is more than exercising your way to recovery; it supports individuals diagnosed with cancer and helps them reclaim their health and find hope in living again. Join us for silent and live auctions, wine raffle, 50/50, appetizers, hosted (open) bar, dinner (your choice of prime rib, salmon, or chicken) and dessert. After the main event, stay for music and dancing and a late night snack. So grab a friend, get dressed up (black tie optional) and RESERVE YOUR SPOT today.
Fund A Need
The Livestrong with the Muskegon YMCA program strives to provide any survivor the evidence-based support and tools needed to regain physical and emotional strength. The program is supported through grants, donor dollars, and the Black Tie for the Y gala. Per agreement with the Livestrong Foundation, this program is offered to cancer survivors at no charge to ensure there is no additional financial burden on survivors. The cost per participant for the 12 week program is approximately $700. You can support a Livestrong participant by attending the Black Tie for the Y. Help Build a Healthy Future for Muskegon.
