12TH ANNUAL MS BIRDIE BASH DINNER GALA

OUR MISSION

The original inspiration for the MS Birdie Bash & Dinner Event was to help a friend in need. Rick Ebner has been living with MS for more than 30 years. A portion of the proceeds from the MS Birdie Bash are allocated directly to Rick to be used for his fight against MS. We also give out grant money to individuals in the metro area that are in need for help regarding their own fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Grant money ranges from $1,000 -  $35,000 per year, per individual depending upon immediate need and situation which is determined by our MS Birdie Bash Committee.

The party starts @ 5pm on September 28th!  Enjoy special happy hour prices at our full and private bar! Complimentary Blackjack tables will be setup during happy hour. Appetizers will be available. You will be able to browse all the auction items that you can bid right from your phone!. Dinner @ 6:45pm - Event and Presentation @ 7pm.

FAQ

Where is the Gala being held at?  The Gala will be held in person @ Canterbury Park in Shakopee MN on September 28th - Event is on the second floor mezzanine. Enter Canterbury on the South side casino entrance, take elevator or escalator to the 2nd level.

When can I see the auction items and when will they  be available to bid on?   All the items are available for viewing now on our website - actually bidding will start on on or before September 17th . Silent Auction Bidding will end on September 28th @ 8:15 pm.

How do I bid on the auction items?  By September 19th, you will be able to register and log on to our auction site. On the top of our website there is a "log in /register" button. You will click that button and you will be instructed on how to register. Once registered our auction site will be available to see and bid on. Also items will be on display at the event and available to bid on in person as well as on your phone.

What time does the event start?  Happy hour and check-in starts September 28th @ 5:00pm on 2nd floor Mezzanine inside Canterbury Park. There will be Live Blackjack dealers and tables, drink specials and appetizers available while you get to see all the auction items up for bid. Program starts @ 7pm and the Dinner starts @ 6:45pm

Why is the event called Birdie Bash? In year 1 of our event, we started out as a golf tournament fundraiser. The term "birdie" is in reference to scoring a birdie in golf. The name has stuck ever since - now officially called the MS Birdie Bash Gala - This is now our 12th year!

What is the dress code for the event?  A lot of questions about "what to wear" to our Dinner Gala? We think of this as a party celebration!! Dress up, or dress comfortably, we suggest business or business casual attire - all are welcome!
