The M.S. Main Event is an eventful & fun-filled gala you simply do not want to miss. Each year, we get together for a night of amazing food, drinks, games, prizes, and more - all to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. The party starts at 5:30pm with special happy hour pricing at our full & private bar, appetizers and an incredible silent auction. A delicious Italian themed dinner is served at 6:45pm for all to enjoy . The presentation begins at 7:00 pm. Enjoy a heartfelt evening hearing from multiple speakers, participate in fun games, bid in the LIVE auction, and raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

The original inspiration for the MS Main Event was to help a friend in need. It all started with the President of this non-profit organization (Al Tachovsky) who reconnected with an old friend, Rick Ebner. Rick has now been living with MS for over 30 years, and his condition changes year after year. Rick & Al’s friendship then grew into the idea to start a non-profit and raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. The MS Main Event is special in it’s own way because all proceeds go directly to Rick and many other grant winners to help them get the care they need quickly. This disease affects each individual so differently, so the grants differentiate per individual depending upon immediate need and situation which is determined by our MS Main Event Committee. We have found that insurance rarely covers what is truly needed for individuals fighting this debilitating disease, and that's where we come in to help. Its always nice to know where your money goes when you give to a non-profit organization, sometimes it feels like you are sending money into the abyss, and may question what your donation is actually going to help with. With The MS Main Event, we made sure our mission and fundraiser raised no questions as such. This non-profit gives DIRECTLY to local grant winners to cover the costs associated with equipment, medicine, therapy, doctor visits, and so much more.

FAQ

Where is the Gala being held? The Gala will be held in person on 9/26/24 @ Royal Cliff Banquet and Conference Center  2280 Cliff Rd in Eagan MN 55122 - Event has ample parking around entire building. Easy access as it's located just off of Cedar Ave and Cliff Road. Park anywhere near the building, entrance is on west side of building.

When can I see the auction items and when will they be available to bid on?  Actually bidding will start on on September 17th . Silent Auction Bidding will end on September 26th @ 8:30 pm.

How do I bid on the auction items?  By September 17th, you will be able to register and log on to our auction site. On the top of our website there is a "log in /register" button. You will click that button and you will be instructed on how to register. Once registered our auction site will be available to see and bid on. Also items will be on display at the event and available to bid on in person as well as on your phone.

What time does the event start?  Happy hour and check-in starts September 26th @ 5:30pm . There will be drink specials and appetizers available while you get to see all the auction items up for bid. Program starts @ 7pm and the Dinner starts @ 6:45pm

Can I donate or become a sponsor now?  Yes indeed! On the top of our website just click on the "become a sponsor" or "donate now" button. You can also mail a check to us at: MS Main Event : 6031 North Ridge Dr. Savage MN 55378.

Why was the event called Birdie Bash? In year 1 of our event, we started out as a golf tournament fundraiser. The term "birdie" is in reference to scoring a birdie in golf. The name has stuck for the first 11 years - now officially called the MS Main Event - This is now our 13th year!

What is the dress code for the event?  A lot of questions about "what to wear" to our Dinner Gala? We think of this as a party celebration!! Dress up, or dress comfortably, we suggest business or business casual attire - all are welcome!
