Honorees

Andi and Tom at our 18th Gala

Since they were childhood friends, it’s no surprise Andi and Tom dated and got married! Both levelheaded and fun, they met up again and started dating when Tom was in law school. Having three children - Jack, Rachel and Michael – did not stop them from opening their hearts and home to other children and family.  They also have always included their children in their pursuits of community giving.  It is a DOR L'DOR legacy.

Both of them have been actively involved in charities and causes over the years. Besides involvement and activity at MJP, they have also been involved with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Medical College of Wisconsin, CCFA, Grand Avenue Club, Special Spaces, Milwaukee Jewish Day School and Glendale Little League to name a few. 

Andi was involved in the original design of the preschool. She wanted it to be a special place for all children.  Each room and the preschool itself have some of Andi’s design touches in them today.

Andi’s love of art and children drew her to MJP for the last ten plus years.  She developed a one of kind art program for the children. This program is one of the reasons MJP is thriving.  Whether it’s developing the art program or painting the classrooms, Andi and Tom have demonstrated generous support for the MJP community.  Andi and Tom are truly the heart of MJP and they selflessly give leadership and time.

They embody the kindness, commitment and involvement that prior Champions have exhibited.They are both humbled and honored to be the this year’s MJP Gala Champions.  They truly make the community a better place!
