The Auction Preview is now available! Don't forget to add your credit card to your profile! For questions, see the FAQs below or email gala@mcwt.org.
1. Once you have purchased your ticket, register for your ClickBid account. MCWT uses ClickBid for all our auctions, as it is a safe and easy-to-use platform. All information is cleared after each event, so you will need to set up a new account. Don't forget to add your credit card information for an easy check-out!
2. Review the items available. The Auction Preview will be available soon and shown above. To see more information about a specific item, click on the "details" button.
3. Ready to bid? The CXO Executive Auction will open at 7:00 p.m. on November 5. You must be logged in to place your bids. Note that ClickBid will send notifications (if you have opted in) when you are outbid, so that you can return and place a higher bid. You can place a maximum bid to help facilitate this. (The Live Auction will take place during the program with your numbered paddle.)
4. Wait for your text and then check out! You will receive a notification from ClickBid if you are the winning bidder when the auction closes, which could be you! Look out for your text! It may take a few minutes once bidding is completed.

FAQs
Where is the Gala held this year?
The 2022 Signature Gala – Imagine Better is being held at the MGM Grand Detroit at 1777 3rd Ave, Detroit, MI 48226.
Can I purchase a ticket at the door?
No, only guests who purchased their tickets before the event will be admitted to Gala. No ticket purchases will be accommodated at the door.
What is the dress code?
The Gala is a black tie/cocktail attire event. Men wear tuxedos or a nice suit, and women wear long dresses. Affectionately, this event is called IT Prom!
Where is parking?
Complimentary event parking is available in the MGM parking structure. There will be dedicated parking on the 4th floor but you can park anywhere in the structure. There will be signage directing you from the structure, through the casino to the ballrooms.
NOTE: This is a bit of a walk, and we recommend bringing a different pair of shoes to change into once you arrive at the event space. Valet parking is not available this year to our guests due to worker shortage. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
However, if you are a hotel guest for the evening, you will be able to use the valet service in front of the hotel (restricted to hotel guests only, and NOIR and Platinum MLife Members).
You can also use a rideshare service (Uber, Lyft, etc.) to be dropped off at the Hotel/Event entrance.
What do I need to do when I arrive to the MGM Grand Detroit?
Our event is on the 3rd floor, near the Hotel entrance. Take the escalator up to check-in, get a glass of champagne from the Champagne Wall, and enjoy the night!
What is the agenda for the evening?
Check-in begins at 5:30pm. Please visit the check-in desk to confirm your arrival (including your cell number and email), get your table assignment and bidder number. Keep your phone charged, as bidding takes place on your cell phone. The program and dinner starts at 7:00pm, with entertainment and dancing at 9:00pm. The night ends at 11:30pm.
What is for dinner? Do I need to bring cash for the bar?
The menu for the evening is:
Beef & Chicken Duo - braised short rib of beef and parmesan herb crusted chicken, parmesan polenta, garlic broccolini, herb roasted stewed tomato, roasted red pepper, natural jus
Vegetarian (also vegan and gluten-free) - black bean, sweet potato and kale stew with roasted vegetables, zucchini, squash, roasted tomato and cauliflower
If you have any food allergies or restrictions that we should know about and you didn’t include it on your registration, please email gala@mcwt.org and let us know.
The bar is a fully hosted bar, so there is no need to bring cash. There will be a Champagne Wall when you arrive.
What items are in the auction this year?
We have some exciting experiences and great executives this year for the auction! Be sure to keep this link bookmarked, as the auction preview opens soon.
How does the auction work?
We have two auctions running simultaneously. The Live Auction is during the program, and the Executive Auction is online using your phone. Both auction run concurrently with each other.
The Live Auction will have an auctioneer to facilitate the bidding process. You’ll have a bidder paddle that you will wave in the air, until the auctioneer calls your number. If you are the highest bidder, the auctioneer will announce your number as the winner. A volunteer will record your bid number in the system. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged. Please visit the Help Desk after the auction to pick up your certificate and/or items.
The Executive Auction is online using ClickBid, and occurs concurrently with the Live Auction. If you are the highest bidder, your credit card will be automatically charged and you will receive a text message and an email notifying you that you are the winner. If you have any questions about whether or not you won, please visit the Help Desk.
