About the PFA

Our mission is to enhance and enrich the educational experience of our students. We accomplish this through the generous help and support of our parents, teachers, staff, and our community. All PFA activities and money raised directly benefit the students, teachers and staff. We enhance technology, physical education, science, the music program, library, and playground, and we fully fund and operate a parent volunteer art program.

The PFA bridges the financial gap between what the school needs, and what it receives in funding from the state and grants. Our budget for the year includes $262K in expenses. Here are some of the most important items that you can help support:

Interventionists and Aides - $80,000 (Math, English Language Arts, Bilingual, Kinder)
Art Coordinator and art supplies - $17,000
Library Supplies in both English and Spanish - $10,000
Classroom supplies - $10,000
Computer Teacher - $5,000
PE Teacher - $7,500
Social Emotional Learning Curriculum - $7,500
Ink/Toner - $3,000
Garden Shed Project - $3,200
"Just Ask" - $8,000 (staff can make mid-year requests for special items and projects)
