JCCH Things Japanese Sale -
Autumn Online Auction
Welcome to the Things Japanese Sale - Autumn Online Auction! Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of the year. Even here in the islands leaves on the trees change hues and the flowers bloom in a burst of colors. The air cools and the holidays are just around the corner. Though it is often thought to be a transition season between summer and winter, autumn is a period that holds its own traditions and holidays. Families and friends get together and chat and share meals and memories. Communities gather to celebrate the changing of the seasons.
Though we cannot gather at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai`i to kick off the Things Japanese Sale, we are excited to showcase some of our beautiful Gift Shop items online. The Things Japanese Sale - Autumn Online Auction site is a celebration of the generosity of our Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai`i membership and our community. This website offers options to add color and art to your home and office. You will find prestige crafts made by JCCH members, vintage collectibles, and hard-to-find items. The auction starts on September 1 and culminates on September 28, at 3:00 p.m. New items will be added weekly to the website. Visitors can also make a monetary donation to help with our Autumn Donation Fund.
Revenue generated from this auction will help the JCCH endure this time of the COVID-19 crisis. Our doors and campus may be closed, but we are maintaining the center so that we may provide future community services, cultural and educational programs, and bestow a place that enlightens and illuminates our local AJA history and heritage.
Please explore this website and give a donated item a second home by making a bid. Thank you for your participation and support!
Please note that all items must be picked up at the JCCH Gift Shop from September 29 to October 3, 2020. Please contact Ken Yoshida at 808-218-6739 to make an appointment for the pick up. Items cannot be shipped or mailed.
