An Evening for Autism: Moroccan Nights

As the stars turn the skies to light, join us for Moroccan Nights.
All proceeds will benefit our specialized school's mission of enabling students with autism to achieve independence and academic success.


Socialize among local sports and celebrity figures, including event co-chair Eddie Gill, former Indiana Pacer and current Pacers broadcaster. The Independence Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving middle school and high school students with high-functioning autism. Guests can look forward to a fun filled evening, which will include dinner, drinks and dancing, along with casino games and a live and silent auction!

About Us

Founded in 2008, The Independence Academy is a nonprofit 501c3, state-accredited private school in Indianapolis, Indiana, dedicated to serving families with students in grades 4 to 12 seeking a more personalized approach to education to meet the specific needs of adolescents with high-functioning autism. Students graduate with a fully-accredited high school diploma.
