Join us in celebrating Hāmākuaʻs Paniolo Heritage! This 60-year-old tradition honors our paniolo roots and brings our community together. After a tough year, it's time to get back in the saddle. The Honoka‘a Western Week Committee, Honoka’a Business Association, Hāmākua Harvest and others are bringing Honoka‘a Western Week back to the community in a virtual way. Show your support and help celebrate by participating in the silent auction. It takes more than a global pandemic to keep a good cowboy down. So even though the large events can’t happen yet, Honoka‘a Western Week will take place May 22-31. The scaled-back festivities still celebrate the town’s, and the Island’s paniolo heritage, with food, music, storytelling, keiki activities, and more.
Auction opens at 3pm on May 22nd and ends on May 31st at 8pm HST. Register early to get first bids in on these hot items.
Please note that you will be charged a credit card fee at checkout if you win an item. Pickup and shipping information will be provided to winners when the auction closes. Any item that needs to be shipped, winners will be contacted about the shipping fee charges.
For local pick up, items will be held for 30 days, until June 30, 2021. If you don't pick up your winning item, it will be donated to small menehune.
