Back in the Saddle Again: Honoka‘a Western Week
Join us in celebrating Hāmākuaʻs Paniolo Heritage!
In the last 70+ years, Honoka‘a Western Week has survived a World War, at least one serious earthquake, and a two-year pandemic, but the ever-popular community event is alive and kicking, making at least a partial comeback May 21-30, 2022. Visitors to town will see shops, restaurants and other businesses decorated Western style, and some will offer discounts and specials to those sporting Honoka‘a Western Week T-shirts and buttons. And, all along Mamane Street, shoppers stop and take shots at colorful “photostops” designed and painted by local artists.
Show your support and help celebrate by participating in the silent auction.
The auction opens at 8 pm on May 21st and ends on May 30th at 8pm. Register early to get the first bids in on these hot items.
Please note that you will be charged a credit card fee at checkout if you win an item. Pickup and shipping information will be provided to winners when the auction closes. For any item that needs to be shipped, winners will be contacted about the shipping fee charges.
For local pick up, items will be held until June 25, 2022. If you don't pick up your winning item, it will be donated to small menehune.
